How It Works

We run paid campaigns on Google and social platforms that target homeowners in your service area who need your services right now. Every dollar is tracked, and we optimize continuously to lower your cost per lead while increasing lead quality.

What You Get

  • Qualified leads from homeowners ready to hire
  • Transparent reporting on ad spend and results
  • Continuous optimization to improve ROI
  • Geographic targeting for your service area
  • Seasonal campaign adjustments for your trade

Google Ads for contractors that you can actually trace

The reason most contractors say Google Ads didn't work is that nobody could tell them which calls came from which ad, so the budget got spent on broad match, the homepage and searches from two counties away. We run every campaign with call tracking, exact and phrase match only, a geo fence around the towns you serve, and a landing page that matches the search. When a water heater click turns into a call, you see it. When a keyword burns money without a call, it gets cut.

Local Services Ads first, search ads for the big jobs

For plumbers, HVAC, electricians and roofers, Google Local Services Ads are the first thing we turn on. You pay per lead instead of per click, the leads are exclusive to you, and you show above everything else with the Google Guaranteed badge. Then we add regular search ads for the high-ticket searches where a click is worth paying for: water heater replacement, panel upgrades, system installs, roof replacement. We skip the broad, low-value searches that eat budget.

What to expect on cost

A contractor in a mid-sized market can run LSAs plus a tight search campaign on $1,500 to $3,000 a month and expect somewhere between 20 and 40 leads, more in busy season. Blended cost per lead usually lands between $50 and $120 depending on the trade. We wrote a longer guide on Google Ads for plumbers that walks through the numbers if you want the detail before you call.

Paid Advertising and Lead Generation FAQs

How much should a contractor spend on Google Ads?

Enough to get statistically useful data, which for most trades means $1,500 a month or more between Local Services Ads and search. Below that you'll get a trickle of clicks and no clear picture of what's working. We'll tell you if your market and trade need more or less.

What does it cost to have you manage it?

A flat monthly management fee, quoted after we look at your market, plus the ad spend that goes straight to Google. No percentage of spend, so we have no reason to push your budget up.

Do you run Facebook or Instagram ads for contractors?

Yes, mostly for retargeting people who already visited your site and for remodelers and home improvement trades where a homeowner needs to see the work before they call. For emergency trades, Google is where the intent is.

Should I stop buying leads from Angi or HomeAdvisor?

Usually, once your own ads and site are producing. Shared leads go to four contractors at once and you're racing them to the phone. Your own Google leads are yours alone and cost less per booked job over time.

Will ads work if my website is bad?

Not well. Ads pointed at a slow site with a buried phone number waste most of the budget. If the site isn't ready, we'll fix that first or build a landing page for the campaign.
